This past week I had the chance to go to Providence, RI with Lolly. We went to Providence to visit her Brother Travis, and his wife Jyll, and their son Teagan.
Travis and his family have started a church in Providence and it was so much fun to get to see with my own eyes the culture and people that they are reaching.
Question. Have you ever seen an answered prayer?
This past month has been very busy, and so I have been very tired and stressed. Before we left for Providence I got my camera out of the closet and I decided that I was going to take my camera with me. This is a huge decision because in order for me to take my camera I have to pack a whole separate backpack with my camera and my lenses. But I was really longing to take some pictures. I also remember praying before Lolly and I left…I prayed that God would give me some opportunities to take some pictures. One thing that I have noticed about taking pictures is that it is one of the most calming and relaxing things for me to do. I might not show it on the outside but inside I notice that my soul relaxes and enjoys getting lost is the hunt for photographic moments. I love how you can’t rush the process of taking pictures. When you rush…you miss the best photographs.
So my prayers were answered…in a way in which I least expected it.
I brought my camera with me just about everywhere we went. And we went to lots of beautiful places. Normally when I think of taking good pictures it consists of nature photography. That’s my favorite. BUT this time most of my favorite photographs were the ones with people in them…
So here is some of my evidence for answered prayer…
